*The window guards need to be installed so the bars are vertical and cover the entire window - from top to bottom. If you install them horizontally, a child could climb the guard like a ladder and fall through the unprotected part of the window.




Sliding windows require the vertical style guards. You can either cover the whole window, as in this example, or just the half that opens. If you choose to cover the entire window, you will need more than one guard.

In this example, the end posts are screwed into the window sill and the top of the window frame. This window requires three guards to cover the entire width.


The Guardian Angel comes with 4 emergency release buttons, 2 on each side.
